eXcellent Eggs
During my student teaching experience, I collaborated with a sixth grade teacher to hatch chicken eggs with my first graders. This was an amazing experience; we candled eggs, were able to discover what the chick looked like at each stage, and were even able to see the chicks when they hatched.
